Metzgar, Traplena and Sullivan, L.L.P. is a Certified Public Accounting firm licensed in the state of Texas. All of our CPAs are members of the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA) and hold valid Texas State CPA certificates. Our Professional Staff: Frank W. Traplena, CPA, Partner Frank has over thirty-three years experience in public accounting. He joined the firm in 1980 and became a partner in 1987. Frank is a life-long resident of Waco and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University. In addition to being a CPA, Frank is also a licensed insurance agent (Life, Accident and Health). He was involved in Waco Little League for over ten years as a coach and administrator. During his leisure time, Frank enjoys chasing golf balls through the trees and sand traps at local country clubs. Ronald D. Sullivan, CPA, Partner Ron received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University in 1989 and has over nineteen years experience in public accounting. He joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 2002. Prior to becoming a CPA, Ron was a church music director and church business administrator. Currently, he serves on the board of the Hewitt Chamber of Commerce and as a deacon in his local church. Ron is an avid outdoors man who enjoys camping, hiking and hunting.Mary Jo Hoerman, CPA, Senior Tax Manager Mary Jo is a graduate of East Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She has 21 years of public accounting experience and has been a part of our firm since 2000. Mary Jo is an efficient tax manager with superior interpersonal skills and excellent organizational abilities. Additionally, Mary Jo assists our clients with QuickBooks, tax planning and compilation of financial statements. Brent Kimbrough, CPA, Senior Audit Manger Brent has ten years experience auditing for profit, governmental and nonprofit entities. He also has six years experience in consulting engagements. Brent received a degree in finance from Baylor University in 1989 and worked in the finance industry for five years. He entered public accounting in 1996 and joined our firm in 2007. Will Matus, Professional Staff Will graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He assists in financial statement and tax return preparation. Will has been a part of our firm since 1999. |
